Recently, Aeon Malaysia hosted their ready-to-wear collection for Malaysia on the MRT. Netizens are awed at their bold move to choose that as their runway, as most conventional fashion brands would have made it in a shopping mall.
Netizens further mentioned that the clothes look suitable for daily use especially for the B40 and M40 groups, which seems to be Aeon’s target audience. The difference between Aeon and other brands is that others tend to make their runway shows with impractical outfits.
The fashion show looks slightly similar to Balenciaga’s cities campaign, where Balenciaga had a worldwide campaign showing their models inside the London’s Tube system. However, Aeon took it a step further in making an actual runway show in the MRT.
