TEXAS – Families of victims are demanding justice after Tesla Cybertrucks were involved in deadly fires that trapped passengers and burned with extreme intensity. In one 2024 crash, deputies arriving at a desolate Texas road found a Cybertruck engulfed in flames, its batteries repeatedly reigniting despite firefighting efforts. Human remains of 47-year-old nurse practitioner Michael Patrick Sheehan, who had owned the vehicle for only three months, were later discovered inside.

Families argue the truck’s design flaws, including locked doors and uncontrollable fires, make it unsafe despite Elon Musk’s claims of being “apocalypse-proof.” Investigators described the blaze as so severe it disintegrated bones, raising urgent questions about EV safety standards. Loved ones now call for accountability and stronger protections to prevent future tragedies.
