91-year-old woman and 67-year-old man tied the knot

PENANG – A heartwarming union took place at Silver Jubilee Home For The Aged on March 17, when 91-year-old Hu Ruirong and 67-year-old Wu Caixing married in a simple ceremony surrounded by relatives, friends, and fellow residents. The couple had known each other for only three months but felt certain about their bond.

Hu, who had never married before, said she wanted to live with Wu and was very happy. Their relationship blossomed after Wu moved into the home in December 2025, with daily conversations and evening walks eventually leading to marriage. – Photo: China Press
