AirAsia X Leaves Passengers Stranded, Anthony Loke Takes Notice

1 min read

AirAsia has always been in the troubled spotlight when it comes to the airlines in Malaysia. They used to be the underdogs fighting the government and Malaysia Airlines. However, times have changed and they have gotten greedy thus their service is going down with it.

AirAsia X leaves customers stranded for almost a week in Australia

A netizen who was stranded with his wife in Australia while flying with AirAsia X had tweeted and mentioned the Minister of Transport. Their flight was supposed to be on the 2nd of January but it got rescheduled to the 6th of January without the airline giving any compensation whatsoever.

Most netizens were against AirAsia for doing such an awful act to their customers. The passenger who was stranded claimed to have even taken out his own financial investment in order to pay the exorbitant prices of a hotel room at the very last minute. AirAsia has yet to compensate the person.

Anthony Loke has taken notice of the problem and is starting an investigation towards AirAsia. The airline may be in deep trouble, after two years of being controversial towards their paying customers.

Usually, regardless if it’s a low cost or a 5 star airline, they would usually provide their passengers with accommodations when a flight is delayed. It is strange to see that an airline is not doing anything to help their customers when they are in the wrong.
