Police in Bangkok reported that American tourist Stein Cole, 54, was killed after confronting his ex-girlfriend, Nan Phawt Ar Cho, 24. Cole pleaded with her to reconcile when her current partner, Saw Nay Lin Oo, 26, and three accomplices allegedly attacked him outside a shop. The group used a knife and metal pipe, leaving Cole with fatal stab wounds and broken legs.
