Muafakat Nasional Chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa has warned DAP’s Nga Kor Ming against arrogance, stating that UMNO has the power to reduce DAP from a ‘lion’ to a ‘wild cat’ if necessary. His remarks came after Kor Ming called UMNO Youth Chief Datuk Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh a ‘fly’ in a debate over the ‘ham sandwich’ issue.

Annuar, also a PAS committee member, criticized Kor Ming’s statement, emphasizing that DAP’s strength comes from UMNO’s support. He warned that a time would come when DAP’s roar would be reduced to an insignificant whisper, urging them to show humility.
