A woman in her 20s was injured when a fibreglass water slide raft fell and struck her at a theme park in Shah Alam’s Section 7 around 11pm on January 29. She was walking under the slide when the inflatable raft detached from its hook, hitting her side.

Police confirmed she received treatment at a clinic and suffered no serious injuries. Investigations revealed the unauthorised construction of the slide, with the Shah Alam City Council issuing a compound notice in November 2024. Authorities urge witnesses to come forward as investigations continue under relevant safety laws.
