Malaysia under the new PH-BN government has given the opportunity for politicians like Anthony Loke to realize their vision for the country. Changi Airport is ranked the second best in the world, while KLIA is sadly ranked at number 67. Dated infrastructure has caused the airport to have had better days.
Anthony Loke to focus on KLIA
Obviously there are some netizens jabbing the opposing party, PAS. They claim that if PAS were to take over Malaysia, KLIA would look exactly the same as Kelantan’s bus terminal, which is not far off from the old LCCT (Low Cost Terminal) airport. Furthermore, many are showing their excitement for Anthony Loke in considering the redevelopment project.
There are others stating that Changi airport charges passengers three times more than KLIA in terms of airport taxes. This could probably be one of the reasons why they are doing miles better. However, netizens brought up the fact that labor costs here are much more affordable than it is in Singapore.
