His remarks followed allegations that Israelis were involved in operations at a private residential community in Forest City, Johor.

The home ministry launched a probe after Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi urged federal action. Immigration authorities confirmed that 266 foreigners inspected at the site held valid documents but did not identify the programme. Anwar said investigations are ongoing, with the higher education minister expected to issue a statement soon.
