Senior Political Secretary to the Prime Minister, Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin, joins in with Anwar Ibrahim in an all out criticism of incumbent PKR Deputy President Rafizi Ramli’s aggressive campaign approach ahead of the party’s weekend elections, calling it unwise. Shamsul, also PKR Hang Tuah Jaya branch chief, said Rafizi’s tactics could tarnish the part and Malaysians perception toward national leadership.
Widening conflict
Meanwhile, Anwar took jabs at Rafizi saying: “I don’t bring a ‘cai’, that’s why it takes a long time, to scrutinize each one carefully,” said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The PKR President emphasized that it is better to evaluate and choose the best candidate rather than relying on a list of supporters or ‘cai’. Rafizi had announced his list of candidates a few days ago, saying his list is the one that is right to lead the party and occupy party posts.
