Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta slammed their weak 2-1 New Year’s Eve loss to Fulham, deeming it their season’s worst display and a warning against title aspirations if repeated. Previously topping the table, they’ve now dropped 11 points in five games, landing in fourth place.

In contrast, Fulham’s Marco Silva celebrated, describing it as a deserved win against a top side, thrilled to end the year triumphantly at Craven Cottage.
