The three-cornered by-election involves Barisan Nasional’s Dr Mohamad Yusri Bakir, Perikatan Nasional’s Abd Muhaimin Malek, and Parti Sosialis Malaysia’s Bawani KS.
The by-election follows the death of incumbent Ishsam Shahruddin. Clear weather is forecast in the morning, with thunderstorms expected later. A total of 601 EC officers and 1,114 police personnel will ensure smooth voting processes.
