Balenciaga, the designer that was known for his elegant and luxurious designs back in the day is now known for ripped apart clothes. It’s common knowledge to the point where even Twitter users are making fun of the luxury brand.
Personally, Balenciaga is still my favourite brand. However, some of the items they offer will make you look homeless at an expensive price. Malaysians who are wealthy also purchase their torn apart clothes, don’t believe me? Head to Pavilion or KLCC and take a look for yourself.
They still make elegant clothes and accessories, it’s just not marketed as much as their ‘homeless’ look. It is speculated that they’re doing this for shock value and would slowly gain more clientele after observing their not so popular well crafted designs.
