NILAI, July 19, 2026 – Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin said the party is confident of attracting more non‑Malay support now that it is no longer working with PAS, whose political style he claimed had deterred many voters. He highlighted Bersatu’s slate of non‑Malay candidates in the Negeri Sembilan election as proof of independence from PAS.
