RM14 Billion Invested in Sabah Development, Including Hospital, Port, and Solar Projects

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that 144 development projects worth RM14 billion have been successfully implemented in Sabah under the MADANI Government. These include major infrastructure upgrades like the Tawau Hospital, Lahad Datu Prison, and Sepanggar Bay container port.

The RM350 million MADANI Solar programme was also launched, with Tawau as the pilot site. Anwar emphasized the government’s continued efforts to improve essential services, support small businesses, and eradicate poverty.

At the Sabah MADANI Rakyat 2025 event, he also approved RM10 million for upgrading local market stalls, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to grassroots economic development and public welfare.
