KUALA LUMPUR, May 12, 2025 — PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli cautioned party members eyeing leadership roles in the 2025 PKR polls, warning that Pakatan Harapan (PH) is not poised to win the next general election. Citing data, Rafizi noted PH’s Malay support is only 27 percent as of April 2025, up from 20 percent in 2020, while Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional hold 48 percent combined. With 26 percent of Malay voters undecided and Chinese and Indian support plummeting, PH faces a tough road ahead, urging a strategic rethink for GE16.
