Bournemouth stayed perfect in the Europa League after three second-half substitutes scored to give them a 3-1 comeback win over 10-man Sparta Prague in the Czech capital on Thursday (Nov 5), Sky Sports reported.
Tyler Adams, Evanilson and Rayan all came off the bench to find the net as the Premier League side moved to the top of the league-phase table.
Substitutes Turn the Game in Prague
Bournemouth had the chance to go ahead in the first half, but Lewis Cook’s penalty struck the post.
Sparta then took the lead through Ebrima Singhateh, who ran from inside his own half before scoring a solo goal, according to Sky Sports and UEFA.
The hosts were reduced to 10 men when Tobias Guddal was sent off. Sky Sports said he received a second yellow card for a foul on Alvaro Rodriguez.
Adams, introduced at the interval, levelled soon after the restart when he reacted first to a loose ball at the edge of the area. Evanilson then put Bournemouth in front, finishing inside the post after a pass from Ryan Christie.
Rayan sealed the result in the final minute with a low shot from distance. UEFA said it was his third goal of the campaign.

The victory was a seventh straight win in all competitions for Marco Rose’s side, Sky Sports reported. Singhateh’s strike ended Bournemouth’s run of six consecutive clean sheets.
Bournemouth, playing in their first European campaign, have won all four of their league-phase matches. UEFA said Benfica and Ferencváros also still have perfect records.
According to Sky Sports, Evanilson now has six goals in his last seven matches. Bournemouth’s next Europa League fixture is away to Celta on matchday five on Nov 26, according to UEFA.
