Such places have been trending in the last 15 years, and it’s growing in Malaysia. However, in the United States, concerns have emerged as some bundle stores are charging used damaged items at prices higher than their original retail value.

In Malaysia, some of these practices are becoming evident as certain stores rebrand themselves as “curated” while selling items at inflated prices — such as a dusty, sweat‑stained Nike T‑shirt tagged at RM2,000.
The resale of worn designer goods has also strayed from the original purpose of bundle culture, with handbags in visibly poor condition priced at RM16,000, even though the original brand offers brand‑new pieces for far less.
