Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seized Menara Ilham, owned by former finance minister Daim Zainuddin’s family. Business operations continued as usual on Dec 22. MACC stated the seizure was due to an offence under the MACC Act 2009. Daim reportedly refused to declare his and his family’s financial holdings.
