A viral TikTok discusses the ridiculous prices of luxury fashion items today. Apparently, Chanel is a recent target as they were selling a leather jacket for over RM110,000. For the most part, ready-to-wear pieces are not as expensive as that. Typically, such prices are reserved for couture pieces.

Posted by TikToker @locaeclectic, she shows a rather iconic but quiet luxury jacket. The only detail of the brand is their signature quilting. A user states that they could be making a leather jacket of the finest materials for RM25,000, and it would still be a rip-off.
This is coupled with the brand’s alleged decline in quality as many are still talking about it. It is unclear if their ready-to-wear are affected by this alleged quality decline, but users are not entirely too impressed with their pricing.
