Netizens on X are showing their frustrations and anger towards the government after announcing that new civil servants will no longer get pensions. However, others are asking to know why MPs are still getting their pensions despite potentially working for a shorter term than a government worker.

Others state that there are workers who have been working for 16 years without a proper guarantee. Furthermore, netizens are complaining that these workers tend to be on contract for decades at times. This is rather peculiar as they too are representing the government.
One of the biggest problems with our current government is their communication skills. They need to explain things properly and thoroughly, stated by a netizen. However, the government did state that the pension program is to be replaced with their respective EPFs. In the end, that would relatively be something similar to a pension for them.
