Company Director Remanded in RM1.1 Million Fake Document Scheme

A fake document scheme involving a 600 foreign worker quota application worth RM1.1 million for the Ministry of Human Resources continues to unravel as another company director is remanded. 

Company Director Remanded in RM1.1 Million Fake Document Scheme

The female suspect, in her 40s, was remanded for five days by Magistrate Wan Noora Nisa Ngadirin. She was detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in Selangor. 

Investigations revealed she allegedly conspired last year to submit two fake quota applications. MACC confirmed the arrest and the case is being investigated under Section 18 of the MACC Act 2009.
