A Malaysian woman’s viral post highlighted an unexpected mishap when her Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf order spilled during delivery. Shahira Azura shared that the rider immediately apologised and even offered to replace the RM20 drink at his own expense.

She graciously refused, saying it was unfair for him to bear the cost, and accepted the situation calmly. Later, CBTL Malaysia’s Managing Director, Datuk Mohamed Amar Shah Abdul Aziz, responded, assuring reimbursement and promising stronger takeaway packaging. 

Netizens praised both Shahira’s empathy and the rider’s sincerity, while the company pledged improvements to prevent similar incidents.
