Three Malaysian criminals, among the most wanted under Malaysia’s Operation Jack Sparrow, sparked chaos at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after being deported from the United Kingdom. The trio, linked to a violent organised crime syndicate responsible for over 80 cases—including murders, armed robberies, shootings, and arson in areas like Taman Sentosa, Brickfields, and Cheras—had fled Malaysia and attempted to enter Manchester. UK immigration authorities, alerted to their high-profile status, denied entry and returned them to their last departure point, Mumbai.
Most-Wanted Fugitives
Upon realising they faced extradition to Malaysia, the suspects resisted violently, engaging in a physical brawl with Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel in the transit area. Witnesses described the scene as completely chaotic. The men were eventually subdued and placed under high-level security in a special holding room with 24-hour surveillance. Malaysian elite police are expected to arrive within 48 hours to take custody. Indian authorities are investigating how the fugitives bypassed security checks and boarded the flight, probing possible use of fake documents or lapses in international alerts.
