A digital billboard along the Federal Highway in Petaling Jaya caught fire at 1:25 PM, causing injuries to three Indonesian workers. The incident, captured in viral social media videos showing thick smoke, occurred while maintenance was reportedly being performed. All injured were treated at the University Malaya Medical Center.

Deputy District Police Chief of Petaling Jaya, Superintendent M Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly, confirmed the event and stated that further investigations are underway. Additionally, users are skeptical with regards to the permits used for this billboard.
Others add that they hope the workers get their insurance from this unfortunate incident. An accident like this can negatively affect a worker’s physical ability.
