A Singaporean woman witnessed more than 10 cockroaches crawling over cakes and pastries displayed on a shelf in Lotus’s supermarket at KSL City Mall, Johor Bahru. This comes to a shock as big chain businesses should keep their baked goods in a clean, safe environment.

She also found several insects infesting the self-checkout counters when she headed there to pay for her groceries with her two daughters. She then informed a service staff member who only removed the two affected boxes, leaving the rest as it is.
She was not satisfied with the action taken and decided to raise awareness about the incident. KSL City Mall is a popular shopping destination for Singaporeans, but she vowed never to return to that outlet again.
