Fake Doctor Took RM1.7 Million from Pregnant Disabled Wife

Li, a 31-year-old single mother from China who was paralysed in a 2013 car crash, met a man named Ding during rehabilitation who claimed to be a surgeon. They married, but Ding soon manipulated and abused her, forcing her to take out a 3 million yuan (RM1.7 Million) loan while she was pregnant.

He was later revealed to be a fraud with no medical qualifications and a record of sexual harassment. Ding abandoned Li and their child after their divorce.

Li now raises their son alone, supporting them through live-streaming sales, while continuing to rely on a wheelchair despite some improvement in her condition.
