Mohd Khairul Amin Mohd Rashid, 38, from Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru, Puchong, claimed hundreds of fiery rocks rained down on his home during a gas pipeline explosion in Putra Heights last Tuesday. Awakened by a strong tremor at 8 a.m., he initially suspected an earthquake. Opening his door, he faced intense heat and a reddish glow as burning rocks fell from the sky. Yelling for his wife and three children to flee, he feared for relatives in nearby homes as temperatures soared. Escaping to Sungai Kelang, he later reunited with his children at Putra Heights Mosque.
