A fire broke out in a shop at IOI Mall Damansara, damaging 80% of a room. Thanks to the quick response of bystanders, the fire was extinguished before the fire brigade arrived. The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department confirmed that the fire affected an 8×8 square foot room.

Commander Mohd Redzuan Rosli led the operation with 14 personnel, two fire engines, and one EMRS vehicle. The fire was successfully contained, and no injuries were reported. Authorities praised the public’s swift actions in preventing further damage until the fire department’s arrival.
