Five Dead in North-South Expressway Multi-Vehicle Crash

Five people, including a two-year-old girl, lost their lives in a four-vehicle collision on the North-South Expressway near Kluang. Eight others sustained injuries in the incident at KM58.1 southbound. The crash, caused by a lorry’s burst tyre, involved a Volvo lorry, Toyota Camry, Proton X50, and Honda Stepwagon Spada.

Victims included Iklil Nuraudah Muhammad Redzaa, 23, and Mariam Nasaarudin, along with her parents. Rescuers extinguished a car fire, and all occupants were hospitalized. The lorry driver was arrested for the crash. Police are investigating the tragic accident, which unfolded late at night on March 24.
