Netizens Against Foreigners wanting to Retire in Malaysia, Citing Cost of Living Concerns

In lieu of Malaysia being a rather low cost of living country, it appears that a number of those from wealthier countries would consider this a place to retire. But, it seems that social media users are disagreeing with this phenomenon happening as they feel this will skyrocket the local property prices. 

Netizens against foreigners wanting to retire in Malaysia 

Apparently this is from a Reddit post that went viral all over social media. It was done by a couple wanting to retire in Malaysia with an approximate RM4-5 million. Netizens add that there are plenty of Malaysians who can’t afford a new home, or even rent in lieu of the low wages being the norm here. 

Others feel that foreigners from wealthier countries would most likely not purchase homes that are in the RM300,000 price range.
