“I Forgot How to Sing ‘Negaraku’”: Man Caught Faking Malaysian Identity During Raid
Immigration officers uncovered numerous deceptive tactics, including hiding on rooftops and refusing to open doors. The operation, led by the Immigration Department of Selangor and involving 390 officers from multiple agencies, inspected 1,597 foreigners and detained 597 undocumented migrants aged between 11 and 59.
Offences included overstaying, possessing fake IDs, and lacking valid documents. All detainees will be sent to the Semenyih Immigration Depot for further action.
