CapitaLand has been named Company of the Year for Community Care & Sustainable Impact under the shopping mall category at the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2026.
The recognition highlights CapitaLand’s ongoing efforts to uplift underserved communities through impactful social and sustainability initiatives.
#GivingBersama 5.0 Delivers RM200,000 Aid Nationwide
The award celebrates CapitaLand’s flagship programme, #GivingBersama 5.0, which delivered RM200,000 worth of essentials and educational supplies to 2,250 beneficiaries nationwide, including orphanages, low‑income families, and underserved children.
Supported by CapitaLand Hope Foundation, the initiative also provided healthcare and wellness services through collaborations with partners such as Big Pharmacy, Adventist Hospital Penang, NSK Grocer, and Little Scoop.
This marks CapitaLand’s fourth consecutive win at the CSR Malaysia Awards, underscoring its long‑term commitment to enriching lives.
Since 2011, the company has contributed over RM2.8 million to community initiatives, positively impacting more than 18,300 beneficiaries. In 2025 alone, 210 employee volunteers contributed 1,740 hours across Malaysia.
Managing Director Selina Ng said the recognition reflects collective efforts by employees, tenants, and partners. By expanding support beyond essentials to healthcare and empowerment, CapitaLand continues to integrate sustainability into its business while creating meaningful social impact across Malaysia.
