KUALA LUMPUR, July 10 – Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh criticised activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin (Chegubard) and UMNO Batu chief Gulam Muszaffar Gulam Mustakim for politicising plans to acquire land in Semenyih for Islamic burial grounds. Yeoh, who is also DAP secretary-general, said burial land is a necessity and government duty, noting Kuala Lumpur faces shortages.
