Hospitals in Malaysia, particularly government facilities, often struggle with inadequate parking. An X user questioned why underground parking isn’t built to accommodate the huge patient volume. With limited public transport accessibility, parking becomes essential, yet the lack of investment in such infrastructure continues to frustrate visitors and patients alike.

Crowded Hospital Car Parks Leave Patients Frustrated

X users argue that hospitals face structural limits: medical equipment is heavy, making underground parking impractical. Even if large underground facilities were possible, the maintenance costs would be prohibitively high, raising doubts about whether such projects are feasible or sustainable.

Additionally, some users claim that hospital locations like the Sungai Buloh hospital may not have enough parking spaces due to daily commuters using their parking spaces as the KTM station is nearby. But, it is a common thought that both private and government hospitals lack parking spaces for visitors and patients.
