Identical Shoes For RM140 and RM120?

1 min read

A Twitter user posted their disappointment on buying a pair of black heels from a stall in Publika, only to find it for RM20 lesser at another stall in the same vicinity. The user has purchased both shoes from the stall to do a more detailed comparison between the two and they look the same.

The odd thing here is that the sole of the two respective shoes aren’t generic as they are reflecting the brand that is selling them. Most likely the shoes were from the same factory and the brands would order the shoes from there. Some netizens mentioned that if the user did not post a picture of the soles they would think that it’s from Shopee.

Sometimes it’s commendable to support local brands, luxury retailer Bonia is a great example as it is as high quality as other designers such as Coach and Michael Kors. However, sometimes it is not so great. Take this user’s experience as an example of being more careful when making purchases.
