Be Alert During Baazar Ramadan

1 min read

A netizen today posted on Twitter that they spent RM30 on a meal only to devastatingly find out that it had maggots in it. The original poster was a tik-toker that expressed their frustration after fasting a long day and ended up realizing their scrumptious meal is infested with maggots.

The bazaar is at Putrajaya, and the specific stall has a staff of multiple people in order to make their processes faster. The name of the dish is ‘Mee Tonggek’ and I for one at the same time understand the higher end price point but quality is expected to come along with that price.

The customer further stated that they wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t delicious, but the stall should at least prioritize the cleanliness of the food. Furthermore, on Twitter netizens were supporting the customer but some were mentioning that it could be her method of storing the food before her buka puasa.
