Vandalism or Viral Prank? Singapore Youth Under Investigation After Filming Himself Licking iJooz Straw
Singaporean orange juice kiosk operator iJooz has officially filed a police report after a video of a youth tampering with its hygiene supplies went viral. The footage, originally posted as an Instagram story on March 12, shows the teenager removing a straw from a public dispenser, licking it, and casually placing it back for future customers.

iJooz launched an internal investigation immediately after the clip sparked public outrage online. The company condemned the act, stating it takes a “serious view” of incidents that compromise their strict safety and hygiene standards. To prevent future tampering, iJooz announced it is accelerating the rollout of upgraded machines across the island featuring fully enclosed, automated straw-dispensing systems.
