Johor Police Smash RM2.6m Drug Syndicate in Luxury Apartments

Johor police crippled a drug syndicate operating from luxury apartments, seizing narcotics worth RM2.6 million in two special operations on August 18 and 20. State police chief Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad said four suspects, including two Vietnamese women, were arrested in separate raids.

The seizures included over 15 kg of MDMA and ecstasy powder, ketamine, ecstasy pills, Erimin 5 pills, and 19 bottles of liquid drugs. Police also confiscated cash, gold rings and a car. Three suspects tested positive for methamphetamine, with one having prior drug records. All four are remanded until August 27 under the Dangerous Drugs Act and Immigration Act.
