Apparently, an X user observed that our KLIA Terminal 2 is currently selling counterfeit perfume. However, this is an alleged claim as there is no entire way to know whether this is legitimate or not. Despite this, netizens are rather upset about this information.

Others are blaming the airport management for not cross checking the product properly. Some were intrigued with the naming convention of some of the perfume, namely “Hugo Boos.”

X users also speculate that this could be a discount store selling these merchandise as the official duty free stores would most likely be very strict. Regardless, selling counterfeit items is illegal in Malaysia.
