A 31-year-old labourer, Izzuddin Salim, was sentenced to five months’ jail and fined RM2,000 for threatening to harm Harith Iskander’s daughter. He sent a WhatsApp message to Harith’s ex-wife, Dr Jezamine Lim, warning, “Police won’t protect your daughter”, attaching a picture of her.

Charged under Section 506 of the Penal Code, he pleaded guilty and apologized, requesting a lighter sentence. Harith welcomed the court’s decision, stating it was time to move on. The labourer made the treat following’s Harith’s Ham Sap Kopi joke.
