New: Dr Lee Wei Ling, Lee Kuan Yew’s daughter, dies at 69

Dr. Lee Wei Ling, daughter of Singapore’s founding prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, passed away at 69 on October 9, 2024. Her brother, Lee Hsien Yang, announced her death in a Facebook post, stating that she died at home. Dr. Lee had been battling progressive supranuclear palsy, a brain disease. No flowers are requested, but donations to specific charities would honor her. Funeral details will be shared soon. Dr. Lee is also the sister of Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
