Cambodian’s Lifelong Dream Takes Flight with Stunning Airplane Home

1 min read

A lifelong dream has taken flight for a Cambodian man who has built a house resembling an airplane. Standing 6 meters high and complete with mock engines, wings and a tailplane, the concrete construction has drawn attention in the Siem Reap province.

The 43-year-old, Chrach Pov, has spent around $20,000 so far and plans to build a coffee shop next to the two-bedroom, two-bathroom house.

Saving for over 30 years, Pov finally started building his dream house in March 2022. Despite his nerves about flying, he still hopes to one day fly on a real plane.
