The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is enhancing security measures in collaboration with the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) and KLIA Police for the upcoming 21st ASEAN-Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC) Principals Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, set for October 28–30.
MACC Boosts Security for ASEAN Anti-Corruption Summit in October
The summit will gather anti-corruption leaders from ASEAN and global bodies to strengthen regional cooperation. Key agendas include adopting the ASEAN-PAC Action Plan 2026–2029 and hosting side events like workshops and dialogues.
The MACC affirmed that preparations are aligned with the UN Convention against Corruption and aim to fortify regional policies and legal frameworks against corruption.
