 X User Say He’s Not Offended with Term Malaydesh, as it Means MalayLand

The root of rivalry among Southeast Asians is always something that is discussed. Typically, it’s between Singaporeans, Malaysians, Indonesians, Filipinos, Thais and so on. But, sometimes, our neighbors may call us “Malaydesh” as a derogatory term in lieu of our Bangladeshi foreign workers. 

X user says he’s not offended with Malaydesh

An X user clarifies that the meaning of desh means land, or place. So, the insults used by our neighboring nations are technically not offensive. Furthermore, another user chimed in by saying we should have more respect and decency towards our Bangladeshi foreign workers.
