A Singapore court has sentenced a 38-year-old Malaysian man to 12 years’ jail and 15 strokes of the cane for cheating and extortion involving sexual offences. GN Rajwant Singh was convicted on four charges after posing as a Caucasian “sugar daddy” on dating platforms.
Online Sex Scam
He lured victims with promises of money and luxury before coercing them into sexual acts and extorting money. Court documents showed he used multiple fake personas and threatened to release lewd images if demands were not met. One victim lost over S$183,000. The offences occurred between 2018 and 2020.
