Initially, she faced severe depression and embarrassment but eventually gained acceptance. Her husband, a fisherman, contracted the virus from an affair.
Fortunately, her children are not infected. She also battles asthma and brain tumors. She shared her story after a visit from the Cancer Survivors Association of Malaysia (CSM)’s President.
