Palm Beach: On February 22, 2026, a man in his early 20s was shot dead after attempting to break into Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. According to the U.S. Secret Service, the suspect was armed with a shotgun and carrying a fuel can when he breached the secure perimeter around 1:30 a.m. He was confronted and killed by Secret Service agents and a Palm Beach Sheriff’s deputy.
