A man in Bukit Jelutong was left shaken after allegedly spotting another man peeking into his toilet cubicle from beneath the door.
The original poster (OP) shared footage on Threads showing a man’s face near floor level, through a gap beside a yellow cubicle door. He identified the location as a second-floor public toilet in Bukit Jelutong.
“Scarier Than a Ghost”: Peeping Incident in Bukit Jelutong Toilet Shakes Man
The video was not posted immediately. The OP said the encounter happened about a week earlier, and he only felt comfortable sharing it after telling a colleague. He added that the memory kept replaying in his mind and had left him afraid of using public toilets.
Netizens reacted strongly. One called the incident scarier than a ghost, and the OP agreed, saying he would find a ghost less frightening than a real person.
Others expressed disgust, and one asked why he had not used the bidet spray on the person. Another commenter pointed out that people often cannot react when confronted with something frightening and unexpected.
One netizen recalled a similar experience, saying they froze, could not think clearly and trembled from shock. They now bring their phone into the toilet. The identity of the man in the footage and whether a police report was made were not stated in the original post.
