Another Mini Dhaka raided now. 490 illegal migrants detained

Another illegal immigrant colony, dubbed ‘Mini Dhaka,’ was raided in a special operation called Op Khas Aman in an apartment area on Aman Perdana Street. 490 illegal immigrants were detained in the operation led by the Anti-Vice, Gambling, and Secret Societies Division (D7) of Bukit Aman, the General Operations Force (PGA) and JIM of Selangor.

In the 2:30 a.m. the authorities found that the five-story apartment complex, surrounded by industrial areas, was inhabited by foreign workers employed in nearby factories. But there were also a few illegal immigrants operating grocery stores and selling products from their home countries, which is common among Bangladeshi migrants.
